International Petroleum Limited Liability Company is a family owned exploration company headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah. The company is owned and operated by the Wixom brothers, Brad, Bryon and Mark. The Wixom brothers have been active in the exploration for oil and gas for over 25 years. International has an active exploration and production presence in the Gulf Coast and in the Rockies.

Gulf Coast

International has participated as Working Interest owners in the acquisition of over 300 square miles of 3D seismic surveys in the Gulf Coast. Through its seismic acquisitions, International has participated in the drilling of numerous prospects generated from the 3D surveys, resulting in over 20 discoveries. Currently, International is reprocessing its Spindletop 3D seismic survey located in Jefferson County, Texas with plans to drill a well in the 4th quarter of 2016.

Rocky Mountains

The International Land Team has leased over 500,000 net acres on prospects in the Rocky Mountains, primarily in Utah and Wyoming. Some of these prospects are conventional and some are unconventional prospects. Over the past 10 years, International has sold a number of large lease blocks to other industry partners which has resulted in a number of successful wells being drilled. International usually retains a working interest in the projects and participates in the drilling of the prospects as well. Currently, International is working on several prospects in the Rockies with conventional and unconventional oil resource potential with plans to drill wells in the Uintah Basin in Utah and Fremont County, Wyoming in 2016.
